Business context
Emtethal is a SaaS quality management system based on government regulations. Managers create checklists and schedule visits; officers inspect locations such as hotels and restaurants and complete checklists according to those regulations.
Problem and constraints
Organizations need managers and field officers to schedule visits, complete regulated checklists, and report consistently across complex org hierarchies and languages.
Organizational and establishment hierarchies, multi-user roles, bidding/packages, and multi-language support all need to stay consistent. Field workflows must remain usable for officers completing inspections on site.
My role and responsibilities
Build responsive React UIs and Django-backed workflows for checklists, visits, roles, bidding, packages, and i18n.
- Build responsive TypeScript/React frontends for management and inspection workflows
- Implement and extend Django / DRF APIs backed by PostgreSQL
- Support checklist creation, visit scheduling, and inspection completion flows
- Work with multi-user roles, bidding, packages, and multi-language product needs
Solution and implementation
A React frontend and Django REST backend model organizations, establishments, roles, and inspection workflows so managers can plan work and officers can execute regulated checklists with the right permissions and language support.

React + TypeScript UI communicates with Django REST Framework APIs on PostgreSQL. Role-based permissions gate checklist, visit, bidding, and package features. Multi-language support spans the product UI.
Important technical decisions
Separate management planning from field execution
Managers own checklists and visit schedules; officers focus on completing inspections — keeping each role’s UI aligned with their job.
Django + PostgreSQL for regulated domain data
Relational modeling fits organizational hierarchies, roles, and inspection records that must remain consistent over time.
Treat i18n as a product requirement
Multi-language support is built into the product surface so field and management users can work in the language they need.
